Description: Petals and sepals have a yellow base with dense, fine red spotting, concentrated toward the centre and merging into a central line, creating a copper-toned appearance. The labellum has a yellow base with heavy red blotching. Foliage is clean. The plant carried one spike with 15 blooms and no buds. Bloom width is 65 mm.

Description: Petals are light chestnut with fine red dusting and a central red line. Sepals are light chestnut with fine red dusting. The labellum is pale yellow with bright yellow keels and a velvety burgundy front lobe. The pollen cap is off-white and clean. This first-flowering seedling has clean foliage and two spikes from one bulb, carrying 33 blooms and no buds. Bloom width is 45 mm.

Description: Petals are cream to pale lime green near the column, darkening to grape mid-petal and at the tips. Grape-coloured veining and fine to medium spotting are scattered unevenly, becoming denser toward the tips. Sepals are cream with pale lime green veining near the column, shifting to pale pink near the tips, with a soft pale pink blush along the upper edges. The labellum is dull green with grape veining, and the staminode is cream. This well-grown plant has clean foliage and is rarely seen. Grown from a small seedling and owned for 25 years. It carried one spike with four blooms and no buds. Bloom width is 8.5 mm.

Description: Petals have a fuchsia base, darkening to magenta with a white central line that mirrors the lip colours. Sepals are uniform fuchsia. The labellum has a white base with a dark magenta front lobe and fuchsia edging on the side lobes. This well-grown plant has multiple growths and clean foliage. It carried one spike with two blooms. Bloom width is 95 mm.

Zygoneria Kiwi Advance ‘Ruru’ AM/NZOS

Plant Name: Zygoneria Kiwi Advance ‘Ruru’

Description: Petals and sepals are green with dark brown spotting. The labellum is white with heavy dark purple striping. This very well-grown plant has clean foliage and produces two to three spikes per bulb. It carried five spikes with 19 open blooms and five buds. Bloom width is 64 mm.

Description: Petals and sepals are bright white in the centre with magenta edging that forms a flare-like marking. The labellum is white with a magenta overlay. The plant displays about 75 blooms and 52 buds on 13 strong inflorescences. It is well grown with clean leaves and is grown in a 15 cm pot.

Description: Sepals are pale green with a brown overlay, marked with heavy maroon spotting on the lower sections. The labellum is plum coloured with a white pollen cap. Petals are small and not prominent. The plant is well grown, clean, and presented in a basket. It produces pendulous flowers with multiple blooms from each growth.

Description: Petals and sepals have a rose pink base with a central yellow band. The back of the sepals is a darker rose pink. The labellum is three-segmented, bright yellow with pink colouring on the tips. The plant carries five spikes, with 15 open blooms and 25 buds still to develop. Three spikes hold open flowers, while two remain in bud. Foliage is clean and large, giving the plant a strong and healthy appearance.

Description: The bloom measures 56 mm across. Sepals and petals have a white background with pale lilac edges and reddish brown patterning through the centres. The labellum shows bright yellow keels, a brown crest, and white towards the tip. The plant has clean, dark green foliage and presents a balanced, attractive display.

Description: The bloom measures 72 mm across. Sepals and petals have greenish-yellow edges with reddish brown through the centres. The labellum is cream with deep pink to burgundy veining and markings, merging into purple at the base of the throat. The plant has tidy, clean foliage and produces a striking flower with unusual colour and patterning.

Description: The bloom measures 81 mm across. The plant carries one spike with eight open blooms and two buds. Sepals and petals have a lemon-lime background with dark chocolate brown striping and blotching. The labellum is cream with brown markings, and the keels are yellow with brown spots. Foliage and bulbs show some marks and damage, but the flowers present striking colour and strong form.
