New Zealand Orchid Society Seminar a Strong Success

The New Zealand Orchid Society seminar was a well-attended and successful event. Although Dr Torsten Kleffmann was unable to attend in person because of possible weather-related flight disruption, the seminar moved to Zoom and went ahead smoothly. His presentations were informative, practical, and well-received, making the day both enjoyable and worthwhile for all who attended.
Geoff Laird Award for 2025

Noel Townsley recently travelled to the Whangarei Orchid Society meeting to present Tania and Hubert of Ninox Orchids with the Geoff Laird Award for 2025. Awarded by the New Zealand Orchid Society, this honour recognises outstanding orchids grown and exhibited by orchid growers throughout New Zealand.

NZOS Day Trip – Western Springs to Whangarei

On Saturday, 15 February, members of the New Zealand Orchid Society gathered at Western Springs for a day trip to Whangarei. Some travelled together in the hired minibus, while others made the journey in their own cars.
