New Zealand Orchid Society Seminar a Strong Success

The New Zealand Orchid Society seminar held yesterday was a well-attended and successful event, with members and guests enjoying a full day of learning, discussion, and fellowship.

Although Dr Torsten Kleffmann was unable to attend in person because of the potential for severe weather to disrupt flights, the seminar was quickly moved to Zoom. The change worked well and allowed the day to proceed smoothly.

Dr Kleffmann’s presentations were informative, practical, and engaging. Attendees appreciated the opportunity to hear both his scientific perspective and his hands-on experience as an orchid grower and hobby hybridiser. His contribution added real value to the seminar and was well received by all who took part.

The event was also made more enjoyable by the good food, the positive atmosphere, and the work done behind the scenes to ensure everything ran well. Events such as this depend on the support and effort of many people, and that contribution played an important part in the success of the day.

The New Zealand Orchid Society extends its sincere thanks to Dr Torsten Kleffmann for giving his time and sharing his knowledge, and also to everyone who helped organise and support the seminar. Thank you as well to all who attended and helped make the day such a success.
